Payton Moledor is a spirited performer and creative currently based in Roanoke, Virginia where she is the Assistant Artistic Director at Mill Mountain Theatre.
Best known for her quirky take on a leading lady, Payton is a nationally acclaimed lyric soprano with a grounded professionalism, both on and offstage. Dubbed an "artistic chameleon," she is both an accomplished musician and a UK-trained classical actor with a witty command of classical text and musical theatre alike. Payton loves the color yellow, singing notes so high they hurt your ears, and bluegrass music.
Payton was born and raised in North Carolina and takes every opportunity to return to the mountains of her home state. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.
