Hi, I’m Payton! I'm a New York–based actor, singer, and dancer originally from Mount Airy, North Carolina.

 

I trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, the University of Virginia, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. I love performing Shakespearean monologues written for men, singing the highest soprano line in the score, and a good ballet barre. I'm a member of Actors' Equity Association, received the Arlyn Brewster Award in Musical Theatre from the National Society of Arts & Letters, and have performed in venues across the U.S. and internationally.
 

Some favorite credits include Evita at The REV Theatre Co., Maggie (u/s Cassie) in A Chorus Line at Short North Stage, and Madame de Garderobe in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast aboard Disney Cruise Line.

Offstage, I’m a crafter, pilates lover, and enthusiastic morning person. I knit, puzzle, read, and take walks through my backyard of Riverside Park to find creativity in my everyday. Thanks for stopping by!
