"In high school, I was voted most likely to make a funny face. Now, I make funny faces for a living."

Payton is a spirited performer and creative currently based in Roanoke, Virginia.

Best known for her quirky take on a leading lady, Payton is a nationally acclaimed lyric soprano with a grounded professionalism, both on and offstage. As well as being an accomplished musician, she is a UK-trained classical actor with a witty command of classical text and musical theatre alike. This "Shakespearean Disney princess" loves the color yellow, singing notes so high they hurt your ears, and bluegrass music.

Payton was born and raised in North Carolina and takes every opportunity to return to the mountains of her home state. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.

Offstage, Payton is a freelance writer interested in exploring the artistic experience and founder of Remote Control Branding & Design, a creative branding company for artists.
